I help homeowners and investors to spot the best property choice that suits their family needs as well as for potential asset growth.

I have walked the path from BTO flat to renting for 4 years to finally receiving the keys to our private property.

All done with my spouse and 2 boys in the journey.

Before I studied for the RES exams to become an agent, I was actually exploring the idea of upgrading to private property for quite some time.

I wanted to find out how possible it was to grow wealth from owning the right property.

After doing my research, I sat down with my wife and children to discuss the plan.

The plan was:

My wife initially wanted to go for a resale condo because of the convenience it offers.

We can move in immediately to our own home and there was no need to rent.

But because of the research that I've done, it would seem we get better returns if we bought a new unit at launch.

Based on my calculations and considering the cost of renting - it still made sense to go through the trouble of renting.

I believed it will be worth it. So did my wife.

That's how deeply I believe in the power of using property to leverage on higher returns.

In 2022, we moved to our newly completed condo home.

On paper, we have made some significant gains that both me and wife are happy about.

Might we sell and use the gains to buy something else altogether?

That's the thing - all our options are still possible.

By making some hard choices earlier on - like choosing to rent - we now have more choices than ever.
